Andrew Arnett, Writer
Andrew Arnett, the wordsmith, officially declared himself a poet standing high in a tree Jon Muir-style. He later settled for an English Literature degree at the University of Central Florida before learning to sit still to read and write on the 3rd shift as a security guard in the William Faulkner tradition.
He was inspired to write poetry for Modern Dance after watching Shannon Humphreys' dance production of "The Land of Fog and Whistles." A whimsical portrayal of Isadora Duncan acted by Vanessa Redgrave ruined his financial life and sealed his love of the path Isadora laid forth. He no longer sees writing as a stationary binge. Some of his best lines were composed underwater, riding the rails, and in his sleep.
His wordsmith credentials with Weber Dance include "Vestige," "Ley Lines," and "Of Bones and Marrow." Thanks be to Rumi who spun the first dervish and spouted poems to his scribe. Poets stand at the door where dancers are free to move in.
Andrew is currently seeking a Shaman to Kayak with to the Far Side of the Moon. Cincinnati is where he currently fattens his heart for the next expedition.

Boston Street Lab
The Boston Street Lab is a fantastic organization that created this gorgeous temporary rehearsal space in Fort Point for Weber Dance to work on their latest project, Synchronicity and the Sacred Space. We were able to make exceedingly good headway on the project during our stay. Read more to find out about the organization or visit their website.
Boston Street Lab is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that produces programs for public space. We develop and manage street-level installations that provide opportunities for learning, civic participation, and community life.
Boston Street Lab's vision of a successful public realm includes more opportunities for learning, community, and civic participation at street level, where they are visible, prominent, and broadly accessible to people in the course of daily life. We want people to be able to gather, observe, and participate side-by-side in these activities. We believe this will inspire individuals to improve and invest in the places where they live and work, benefiting our neighborhoods and business districts, sending a powerful message about shared priorities for community life and public space.

Chris Engles, Photographer & Filmmaker
Chris Engles is an independent filmmaker with multiple irons in the fire. Since 1996, his short films have screened at the Woods Hole & Boston Underground Film Festivals. Weberdance: A Photo/Audio Portrait – is one such piece.

Jon Turk, Adventurer/Writer
Jon received his Ph.D. in chemistry in 1971 but realized that he would ooze into insanity if he spent his life in a laboratory. So he tried carpentry, commercial fishing, chicken farming, horse logging, and finally, writing. To keep the juices flowing, he has kayaked across the North Pacific and around Cape Horn, mountain biked through the Gobi desert, made first climbing ascents of big walls on Baffin island, and first ski descents all over the world. His two-year voyage around the North Pacific Rim was named by Paddler Magazine as one of the ten greatest sea kayaking expeditions of all times. His latest book, "The Raven's Gift" explores the strangest journey he ever took, into the realm of the spiritual. He stood naked, balancing on one leg, while Moolynaut, a 100 year old Siberian shaman chanted in the ancient tongue, asking Kutcha, The Raven, to heal his broken and damaged pelvis. But first, she told him, he had to believe. Believe in what, he wondered? "The Raven's Gift" is the answer to that question. Check out our work together on our current projects page or visit Jon’s website at http://www.jonturk.net/
